This weeks weekly travel theme should be an easy one for me as here in my part on NSW Australia we are in our third day of temperatures topping at 39 celsius. I can honestly say – I’m hot – along with the rest of the population of most of this state , South Australia and I think even the usually cold Victoria.
However, capturing “hot” wasn’t as easy as I originally thought. I hope some of these get the message across – maybe these is more of a “dry”. What do you think?
This poor magpie sits on my cloths line trying to catch a breeze he doesn’t have to work for. I’ve got lots of water out for it and all its feathered friends and I’ll put the sprinkler on for them later.
The heat is really getting to the bird wildlife. Here my friendly neighbour magpie spreads his winds to catch a little bit more of a short, cool breeze.
I watered the garden late last night but the relentless heat of the past few day’s is taking its toll. Everything is wilting.
It’s not quite that hot here – we only made 39 officially the past couple of days. My temperature readings at home yesterday was that it got to that temperature before 3pm and the sensor was in the shade. I stopped looking after that. lol. 🙂 Keep cool if you can Tina.
Heh, I feel your pain, I am 1200km from Perth in the middle of nowhere and it is almost 50C everyday..shocker!
