Weekly Photo Challenge: Future tense. (2)

Another promise of things to come. A storm.

A low roll of cloud and a change of light brings a promise of rain after another hot, dry day.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Future Tense.

Hello.  I have a late entry for the photo challenge. I took this at the recent wedding of a friend – to me nothing says looking toward the future more than a groom waiting for his bride.  Hope you like it.

Weekly photo challenge: Lost in the details.

This weeks photo challenge is themed lost in the details.

This was lying on the ground under the tree in the back yard. The hole in the end of it shows how it was pecked from the inside.

Following the long and winding road by itself. I can almost hear this Greenhead and singing the Beatles song when I look at this photo. But that's my weird imagination.

There is no doubt where the name, Greenhead, came from.

These little mushrooms have popped because of the rain. I only mowed the lawn three days ago so I was very surprised to find a large patch of them.

Meet my friendly, neighbourhood, blue tongue lizard. He has been playing hide and seek with me for about five years. He wasn't amused that I finally caught him on camera.
